You are invited to attend the Sixth Annual Summit on Entrepreneurship and Innovation on May 5th from 8:00 am – 1:00 pm at the City Hall Rotunda. This event is hosted by the City of San Jose's BusinessOwnerSpace.com and this year's theme will again focus on the importance of immigrant entrepreneurs and small business owners in our local economy. Key partners for the event include The U.S. Small Business Administration, Kiva, SBDC, eBay and Wells Fargo. Seven different workshops will be offered in such areas as access to capital, doing business in San Jose, social media and branding, and business services available through the library. Spanish and Vietnamese translations are available for all workshops. In addition, the event will feature a resource fair with over 20 BOS partners that provide a wide array of services to small business owners at little or no cost, a keynote speech from eBay’s Chief Diversity Officer, Damien Hooper-Campbell, and valuable networking opportunities. Participating partners include a wide range including: City of San Jose, County of Santa Clara, SBDC, SCORE, Meriwest, and many more.
The event is free and open to the public and Eventbrite registration prior to the event is highly encouraged. Flyers and event information will also be available in Spanish and Vietnamese through the registration page.
